There are a couple of things that maybe a factor in the stability of the App.The first thing to check is the memory usage actively running in your device. One of the inherent properties of a mobile device ; if you have too many App’s open and running in the back ground, the App you are trying to open and download into may become unstable or corrupt. The reason for this is based in the boundaries of the memory in the device being expended.
Once you get close to the boundaries of the memory, any App you try to run will crash. To see how many App’s you have open, quickly double tap the home button on the bottom of your device. Scroll footer will appear in the bottom of the screen and will show you the entire App’s you have open and running. Place your finger on any one of the icons and hold it until it begins to wiggle. Once it has begun to wiggle a minus sign will appear on the top left corner of each App. By tapping the minus sign you will close the App. Our recommendation is to run through this process initially. Once you have completed this, please take the following steps to restore your App;
It is important to note, the App must remain open while download is completing. If the App is closed before you have finished all of the downloading you will not receive all of the content. This problem will normally rectify itself by re-launching the application. Follow these steps to re-store PixelMags:
Step 1: Make sure you have a solid Wi-Fi connection or 3G Signal.
Step 2: Ensure you are using the most recent versions of iTunes.
Step 3: Ensure you are using the most recent version of the IOS Software (iOS 4.2) for your ‘iDevice’ (i.e.: an iPad; an iPhone: 3G, 3GS, 4; or an iPod Touch: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Generations).
Step 4: Re-launch the PixelMags App:
If this does not resolve your issue, proceed to Step 5.
Step 5: Remove and reinstall the PixelMags App:
*IMPORTANT: After re-installing the App, launch it by tapping the icon on your main screen. Be sure to log in to your PixelMags account to ensure all of your previous purchases are available to download. When you launch the App, wait for the login panel to pop-up. If it doesn’t appear, go to the “More” tab in the top right corner, select “Settings” and then select “Login”. Enter your email address. The App will check if your email address is registered on the system. Once your email address is verified it will prompt you for your password. At this point enter your password in the required field, then tap “Go.”
