To see how many apps you have open, quickly double-tap the home button on the bottom of your device. The scroll footer will appear in the bottom of the screen and show you the entire list of apps you have open and running.

Place your finger on any one of the icons and hold it until it begins to “wiggle”. Once it has begun to “wiggle” a minus sign will appear on the top left corner of each app.

By tapping the minus sign you will close the app. Our first recommendation, if you run into difficulties with your app, it is best to run through this process. Then, delete and re-install a fresh version of the app and try to download the offending issue again. 

To view current and completed downloads; tap the magazine page to reveal the extended magazine control features. Then tap the downward-pointing arrow in a circle to reveal the “Downloads” pane.

  This pane will allow you to view current and completed downloaded magazines. You can also stop and delete current downloads, as well as deleted already downloaded magazines by tapping the “X” on the file you want to affect.

 NOTE: Downloads in progress will only continue while an app is running. Any in-progress downloads will stop when an app quits. Pending downloads will resume as soon as the app is restarted.
