Magazine subscriptions in the digital world work the same as printed magazine subscriptions. The credit is only applied to future issues. Any previous issues or "Special Release" issues beyond the current issue publishing date are considered "back issues" and are a single-purchase, one-off item. These issues are no longer included in the subscription price.

We are, however, currently working closely with our publishers, to possibly change how subscriptions work to accommodate back issues in digital subscriptions as this a popular request from many of our customers.
