How Do I Close/Quit An App?

1.  In order to quit an app, press the home button to return to the main iPad screen. Then, press the home button twice in quick succession to reveal the app-switcher window:

3.  Tap the red button on the app you wish to kill (quit). Repeat as desired. When you are done quitting apps, press the home button to leave “quit app” mode return to “app switching” mode. To leave “app switching” mode, either tap the main part of the screen, the home button, or tap a running app in the dock at the bottom of the screen.
